Argentina is the eighth largest country in the world, but its
population is only 37 million people. About half that number is
crowded into the greater Buenos Aires metropolitan area, which means
that population density throughout the rest of the country is
extremely low. Much of the land is flat and fertile and well watered,
providing splendid conditions for agriculture and wonderful habitat
for game birds. The climate is very temperate and the seasons are
reverse of the seasons in the United States. The people in Argentina
are very friendly and many of them speak very good English.
